Goldenrod Department Store

When you are able to access Goldenrod City, the Shiny Stone is for sale for only 5,000. This is where that unlimited Shiny Stone pool can come into play. 

If you have the money to spend, then you can buy the Shiny Stone along with other evolution stones from the vendor.

Goldenrod Department Store (Stone Maniac)

You can get a Shiny Stone for free in the same area. You have to look for this NPC called the Stone Maniac. 

Before you can get the Shiny Stone from him, you need to get the 4 other stones first.

Once all four evolutionary stones are obtained, he will give you the Shiny Stone. You have to talk to him at specific times of the day to get those other stones.

Stones to Get from the Stone Maniac Before Getting the Shiny Stone

• Dawn Stone – Obtained during the Morning (5 AM to 10 AM)
• Sun Stone – Obtained during Day (10 AM to 2 PM)
• Dusk Stone – Obtained during Evening (5 PM to 8 PM)
• Moon Stone – Obtained during the Night (8 PM to 5 AM)

Saffron City

There is a house on the left side of the Pokemon Center in Saffron City. Simply talk to the woman in the image below, and you’ll get a Shiny Stone from her.

Togepi Island

This location is a bit accessible but very far in the game. When you get to Togepi Island, the Shiny Stone is located on the east side of the island.

Triple Battle Lounge

The Triple Battle Lounge is located on Knot Island, which is one of the Sevii Islands. In this lounge, they hold triple battles with a theme of the day.

The theme you would want is the Mineral theme. There will be Trainers in the lounge that players can challenge.

All Trainers will have fused Pokemon, and all of them are triple battles. All you have to do is beat the Trainers, and a Shiny Stone can be one of the potential rewards. 

The downside here is that the rewards are random, and you may not even get a Shiny Stone on that day.

However, if luck is on your side, then you can use this area as another infinite Shiny Stone source, as long as you’re lucky enough to get one as a reward. 

Don’t forget that the theme won’t be Mineral all the time.
