One of the hottest GBC ROM hacks right now is Pokemon Ambrosia. It is a hack of Pokemon Crystal with a lot of interesting features and challenges.

Let’s just get right to it as we present a list of Pokemon Ambrosia cheats.

The hack has very few cheats for now, and these were provided by people involved in making the hack.

The game itself has a gimmick of being hard and unforgiving, even with the cheats. For this list, we’ll use GameShark codes.

Pokemon Ambrosia is based on Pokemon Crystal, so we used our list of Pokemon Crystal cheats as the basis of our testing.

List of Pokemon Ambrosia Cheats

Before using any cheats in Pokemon Ambrosia, please keep these important tips in mind to ensure a smooth gaming experience:

  1. Save your game progress before activating any cheats to avoid losing valuable data.
  2. Enable only one cheat at a time. Activating multiple cheats simultaneously can lead to crashes and freezing.
  3. Turn off cheats after use to prevent unintended glitches or errors.
  4. Do not overuse cheats. Cheats alter the game program; when overused, the cheat can ruin your game.
  5. Mixing cheats is not recommended, as this can result in random bugs, including freezing or crashes.
Level Cap Increased to 100

This cheat simply increases the level cap of the Pokemon you have to 100, because by default it isn’t possible.

      • The code is correct. I actually just made a post with all Pokémon encounter codes.

        And there are 3 Pokémon in Ambrosia that cant be a 100% catch. Zygarde, Mewtwo, and Arceus are the only 3 Pokémon the creator modified. All balls work the same. Its a 2% chance to catch them each throw. 4% chance if you weaken and apply Sleep. Maybe frozen, paralysis, and others may work?

        I just did the 2%. Encountered Mewtwo at lvl 24. Used the master ball cheat. I think on like my 35th throw i got em. Then rare candied him to match my current Pokémon levels.

        And of course, Thanks to DrUltimaMan for the wonderful game, info on the catch rate, and providing me hints on how to create a list for every single Pokémon!

      • You can catch it, but it’s hard because of Pokemon. On the game configuration says that on Mewtwo and Arceus Masterball work like PokeBalls…

  6. Probably a dumb question here, but how do I get Arceus (probably spelt wrong) after I caught MewTwo in Hall of Orgins? The door wont open.
