Pokemon White 2 is the other game released alongside Black 2. These games are direct sequels to Black and White and they still rely on Generation V Pokemon but with a new story and characters.
The game still has many functional Action Replay codes or cheats that you can use to lessen the time you spend grinding it. Have fun and make sure to save your game progress before adding any of these cheat codes.
Also, do not overuse these cheats, turn them off after using, and do not pair a cheat with another cheats.
Keep in mind that the codes provided are intended for the (NA) version, but they may also be work with the (U) version. We’ll also add a lot of instructions needed to activate the codes when you need to.

If you’re going to use this on Android devices, we have created an article for our recommendations of the top 5 Best Nintendo DS Emulators for Android. For Windows PC users, check our 5 Best DS Emulators for PC.
The cheats work well on Delta emulator for iOS, Myboy or Pizzaboy for Android, VBA for Windows, and mGBA for MacOS.

Pokemon White 2 Cheats – Action Replay Codes for Nintendo DS
Please note that these cheats are specifically for the (NA) version and may potentially work for (U) as well.
However, it is important to mention that the cheat codes for the Japanese and European versions are different, therefore it is unlikely that these cheats will work.

Input the code and press Select. You will receive 649 Master Balls and 100 Ultra Balls. The tricky part here is that you need to check the National Pokedex. Based on the list, you need to discard the right amount of Master Balls to encounter the Pokemon of your choice. Discarding the right amount of Ultra Balls will also determine what the level of the Pokemon is.
By default, 649 Master Balls and 100 Ultra Balls will let you encounter a level 100 Genesect. If you want to encounter a level 10 Bulbasaur, then just discard 648 Master Balls which will leave you with 1 and that’s Bulbasaur’s National Pokedex number. You just need to do the math to get the Pokemon that you want and don’t forget to press R to encounter the Pokemon of choice

How Shard works? Shards are used to teach your Pokemon special moves from Move Tutors scattered across Unova, mostly in Driftveil City, Lentimas Town, Nacrene City, and a few others.
Note: You can only use the tutor if your Pokemon is compatible with the move. Some rare moves need a lot of shards, so this cheat is useful for this reason.

Are there any IV’s modifiers out there for Pokemon White 2? I’m on Delta emulator.
Hey, we’ve tested a few IV modifier codes for White 2 before but haven’t found one that works reliably yet. Rest assured we’ll keep looking and will update the page as soon as we find a confirmed working one. Stay tuned.
I’m on Delta Emulator trying to use the code to catch opponent’s Pokémon, and I’m experiencing some really odd behavior. If the trainer has multiple Pokemon, and you throw a poke ball at any pokemon that’s not the first pokemon, it will actually catch the previous/preceding Pokemon. So, if you throw the poke ball at the second Pokémon, it will actually catch the first Pokémon. If third, it’ll catch second Pokemon. So on and so forth. It still ends the fight just like in the other games, but it will say that you lost the match (you didn’t)—that you are out of Pokémon (you aren’t) and that you blacked out (you didn’t/don’t). It also says that you had to pay your opponent (you didn’t/don’t).
Hey mrtwrecks, that’s actually expected behavior with the catch trainer Pokemon cheat, it always catches the first Pokemon the trainer sent out, not the one currently on the field. The blackout message is also just a visual glitch; you didn’t actually lose anything. Let me know if you run into any other issues and thanks for coming here.
Is there a code to complete the Pokédex?
Bro I am using Melon Ds for this but code not working for rare candy
i think the exp share code aint working, ive been trying to use it for an hour and no success, can u pls look into it and tell me
?
Hey Kenzo, welcome here. May I know which DS emulator and Pokemon White 2 version you’re using? These cheats were tested on the English/US version of the game, so they may not work properly on other versions. The more details you can share, the easier it will be for us to help troubleshoot the issue.
what about cheats for nature modifier?
I have tried the nature modifier cheats as well, but sadly no success yet. However, I’m still testing other possible codes and methods. If I find a working one, I’ll make sure to add it to the page and share it with the community.

How can I make the wild Pokemon modifier normal again? It seems to be stuck on the previous Pokemon even though i disabled the cheat
Hello Mossft, thanks for stopping by. After disabling the cheat, try entering and exiting any doorway or entrance to refresh and clear the cheat’s effects. Once you do that, the wild Pokemon should return to normal. Give it a try, and let me know if this works for you.
Get All TM\HM cheat puts half of them in the TM pocket & the other half in the Free Space pocket.
Also, Teach Any TM\HM cheat doesn’t work for me, & I’m on Drastic.
Thank you so much for these chests, you have turned an already incredible game into an even better one.
Hey Josh, welcome here. Glad you’re loving it! Pokemon White 2 is already such a legendary game, so it’s awesome to hear the cheats are making your adventure even more epic! If you ever need more cheats or run into any issues getting them to work, just drop a comment and we’ve got you covered.

Does the shiny encounter cheat work on starter Pokemon?
I believe so, feel free to test the cheat. Make sure to activate the cheat before selecting your starter Pokemon.
Is there a cheat code for a move modifier? I tried looking it up, but there isnt one. I remember a couple years back, one existed within a version where you could modify them in the pokemon’s summary move list
Hey Luis, welcome! Unfortunately, we don’t have a move modifier cheat for Pokemon White 2 yet. I’ll make sure to update the page as soon as we find a working code or if someone shares one with us. Feel free to check back anytime for updates.

Any cheat to edit Pokemon level manually?
Hello Zak, welcome! Unfortunately, I haven’t come across a cheat like that. The closest one available is the Wild Pokemon modifier, which lets you encounter a Pokemon in the wild at your desired level when activated.

Why does my game crash right when I go to move a Pokémon from my box to my party?

Hey thanks for all the cheats, Is there any way you would be able to update them to include the generations added in the latest update? I belive Kalos and Alola Pokémon were added, so I was hoping for a wild pokemon modifier for Froakie :)
Hey Kai, welcome here. You can’t find Froakie in White 2, since the game is Gen. 5. Froakie was first introduced in Gen 6.
The all medicine code works however I can not use any of the items given to me.
You need to press L button. I had the same issue
Or Select button. Ether or should work
Hey I’m on Delta, the cheat for the shiny works but my game freezes whenever I tried to take my Riolu out of PC. Any fix?
I can’t go back to getting normal Pokemon out the grass after using the encounter cheat
Hello there, Rpp. Welcome here. This is a common issue with DS emulators. Here’s how to fix the issue, after disabling the encountery cheat, save your game progress using the in-game save (not save states), then completely close and restart your emulator. Some emulators still keep cheat effects active even after turning them off, and restarting is the most reliable way to clear them. After that, everything should return to normal.
I also noticed the issue with the encounter cheat but you don’t even need to do that, either entering a different code for a different pokemon or turning off the cheat and traveling (i.e. into a cave or onto a different route) will fix the spawns
Glad to hear that this solution works, and thanks for sharing that tip, Josh! That’s a great workaround, entering a different code, or simply traveling to a new area to reset the spawns is way easier than most people think. This is exactly the kind of helpful info that makes our community awesome! I’ll keep your tip in mind as it could really help other trainers who run into the same encounter issue. Appreciate you taking the time to share it!
Hello, I am using the wild Pokemon cheat but whenever I try to withdraw the Pokemon from pc it crashes the game. Initially moving Pokemon to another box worked but this is no longer working. Any ideas on a solution? Thanks!
I had to replace said pokemon with a different slot rather than the 6th slot to keep to from crashing. Once you do that, save and restart your game. Make sure the cheat is off and then you can have a full 6 team. Idk why it does that
Hey! I’m playing on Delta and I’m trying to use the shards cheat. Neither code works, but the first code does put it in my medicine bag. However, the game doesn’t register I have any red shards when I use this cheat. Is there any other kind of fix? Thank you!
What is the in game ID for Landorus in its Therian Forme because Incarnate is 285. Whenever I put it in for the wild Pokémon modifier cheat, I only encounter the Incarnate form.
hey my name cc and im playing on the Delta’s. and the im playing is pokemon white 2 and the rare candy and the berries cheat codes aren’t working so i was wondering if theres any fixs to it or do i need to press anything?
Hey CC, welcome here. After adding the cheat code, make sure to press SELECT in your emulator to activate the cheat. You are using Delta, so cheats can fully work on it.
Rare Candies doesn’t work for me. I’m playing Pokémon White 2 on melonDS. Any fix? Do i need to press any combination?
Hey Chris, welcome here. If you want to make the most out of these cheats, I recommend switching to another emulator such as DeSmuME, as it handles cheat codes much better than many alternatives. Give it a try, and let me know if it works for you.
Max friendship cheat would be nice
Does anybody’s game freeze when trying to withdraw Pokémon. ? if so, how do you fix it? I’ll cheat turned off. Restarted the game still does it

I have no problems with any of the cheats, they all work really well besides the share experience cheat. Cant any help me make it work?
I have the same problem, please don’t ignore this issue…. I didn’t saw him answer any of the EXP share issues.

Hello, the code for the shiny Pokemon doesn’t work. But it doesn’t really matter, and the cheat for the 900 of all item make my game go kabom kabom
By the way, thank you for the codes and the tops of the best games to play I really appreciate your help. also thank you but thank you so much for keeping everything organized. And keeping your page up to date all the time.
Hello Jesus, and welcome! We’re so happy to hear that you like what we’re doing here. Rest assured, we are always working our best to add more cheats for all the Pokémon games our community enjoys.
Regarding the shiny Pokemon issue, please note that you need to hold down the B button to activate the cheat. If it still doesn’t work after that, we recommend checking your emulator’s settings to see which key the B button is assigned to. You may need to remap your keys to get it working correctly. We also created this guide on How to Configure Buttons on DeSmuME, for DesmuME users, but pretty much the same method applies to other DS emulators.
Pokerus isn’t working I’ve tried everything including turning off all cheats and restarting even pressing certain buttons like you would for other cheats still nothing, playing on delta
I second this, hasn’t worked for me either
Guys, apologies for the confusion. I mistakenly labeled the Pokerus cheat activation as Poke Mart, but it should actually be the PC. This has already been fixed. Please give it another try, and thanks for your patience.
Howdy, I used the all tms and hms but there are no HM’s. Any clues?
You’ll need to do both, same thing Happened to me but using both codes for TMs and HMs worked
Any cheats to complete the pokedex?
Hi Anon, we did find a cheat to complete the Pokedex. While it technically works, it also causes glitches in the game, which is why I decided not to include it. I rarely add complete Pokedex cheats since they are often unstable and can ruin the gameplay experience. Thank you for understanding.
Question, PokéCoder. Where is the Pokémon Nature Modifier?
Hey Roland, welcome! We found some codes, but they didn’t work in my testing. I’ll need to do further testing or maybe find more codes.
uhm the “900 all Items” did not work for me. Do u have any suggestion?
Rematch Trainers code does not work. I noticed this is the exact same code as Black 2’s Rematch Trainers. (And it does work on Black 2) This is the only code I use so I know it’s not a conflict. Let me know if you have any updates!
Also, if this comment duplicates, I apologize! My internet crashed the first time I tried to send this comment.
Thank you in advance!
Hey Darren, no worries. I can confirm the cheat works, since I always test them before adding. After entering the cheat, make sure to hold the R button in your emulator before talking to the trainer for a rematch. If it still doesn’t work, double-check your emulator’s key settings to see which keyboard key is assigned to R—you might need to reconfigure it. Hope this helps!
This code is not working for me as well. My button is correct.
Rematch trainers does not work.
Hey Timber, welcome here. May I know which DS emulator you are using? You might need to remap your key settings. Or after adding the cheat, make sure you hold “R” before talking to the trainer.
Hey, so the “Pokemon can learn any TMs/HMs” code isn’t working for me. I’m not sure if I have to hit a specific combo to use or something, I’ve tried L+R, SELECT, UP+SELECT, etc. and I don’t know if it’s bugging, or I need a certain combo to use it??
Hey Vapor, welcome! May I know which DS emulator you’re using? You might need to remap the controls in your emulator settings so that the L and R buttons match your keyboard keys. That usually solves the issue.
I’m having a similar issue. I can’t teach any HM to any Pokemon. I’m using delta emulator on IOS. The buttons should be routed correctly and I’ve tried those button combos. I’ve also tried enabling the other two all HM TM related cheats. But no luck. Curious if you can help, thanks!
Hi, the red shards cheat doesn’t work for me. It shows up in my medicine pocket, but when i talk to the move tutor, it doesn’t recognize it and says I do not have any. What can I do about this?
Hey Kaoh, I appreciate you being here! Give your Pokemon the red shard to hold, then take it back and speak to the move tutor again. Let me know if this trick works for you!
Hi, thank you for your response! I tried this, but you only get a single red shard out of it every time you do this. Now I think I could do this multiple times, but it wouldn’t be very efficient.
Interesting thing is that the single shard now showed up in the items bag after taking it from my Pokemon, and not the medicine bag. This makes me think that the shards being in the medicine bag is the issue.
Do you have any other solutions?
Yeah, I understand that the trick wouldn’t be efficient. Unfortunately, that’s the only solution I can offer for now. Sorry.

This code is edited from 900 master ball code. Click SELECT to get 900 shards in item bag.
Hi Celk Feng, thanks for the tips.
Um what if the shiny cheat won’t let me withdraw Pokemon from my pc???
Hey Alex, thank you for joining us here. After using a cheat, it’s always a good practice to disable it right away. The issues you’re experiencing are likely caused by cheats still being active in the background. I suggest disabling all cheats, saving your game progress using in-game save (not save state), and then restarting your emulator to clear any remaining cheat effects. Hope this helps.
Another workaround is instead of doing move, use the deposit and withdraw on the PC
On Delta Emulator for White 2, the shards cheat code does not work. I hold down SELECT in game to activate and it does not work. I’ve tried all the buttons in case of key mappings.
Hey Bob, welcome! On the Delta emulator, you don’t need to reconfigure the key mappings—they’re already set up and ready to use. Just make sure the cheat code is added correctly, then press Select to activate it. As shown in the screenshot, I’m also using Delta, so I can confirm the cheat works—unless you’re playing a non-English version of White 2, which these cheats haven’t been tested on.
Hello! Do you know if there’s a way to turn off cheats like “no random encounters” or “Pokemon modifier”? I’ve tried deleting the cheat and restarting the emulator. I’m playing on IOS.
Hi can you update/fix this cheat:
HP Never Decrease

D2000000 00000000
I use this cheat to testing if it works however, upon using cheat both my pokemon, wild pokemon and my opponent’s pokemon HP stay the same. I would like a HP never decrease code that only works on my pokemon. Can you update or fix this code please.
Hi Zennika, welcome back here. Unfortunately, that’s the only cheat we have, but I’ll surely update the list whenever I find a new alternative code.
Is there a way to turn the shiny encounter cheat off? I have tried to remove the cheat as well as holding B to turn it off
After disabling the cheat, restart your emulator and then reopen the game. Doing this should clear any previous cheat effects applied to your emulator.
None of the codes work for me… Please help. I need the rare candy cheat code…
Hey Amber, may I know which DS emulator you’re using? Many of our readers have faced the same issue, and it usually comes down to their emulator having different key mappings. The best fix is to reconfigure your controls so the buttons match the original DS layout. For more details, read our article on How to Configure Buttons on DeSmuME.
Hey pokecoder I found a way to make the shiny pokemon encounter all u have to do is activate it and hold the B button while in grass or what ever you’re in and it should work
Hey Younggod, thank you for joining us here. I just realized I forgot to include the instructions on which button to hold to activate the shiny cheat. Yeah, you’re right! and I can confirm it. I appreciate the heads-up, thanks for pointing it out!
Hey pokecoder is there an unlock for all shards (green blue red etc) im tryna teach my mons every move
I’ve just added the cheat, have fun!
Hey thank you for your work!!
Maybe I Can help me, im Playing on iOS on Delta Emulator, encounter cheats Works Fine but I cant catch Trainers pokemons, do I need so press something to activate it? Like select if I want a Pokemon encounter?
Hello Mieser, thank you for being here. To activate the cheat, there’s no button to press; simply capture the enemy trainer’s Pokemon. If you’re still facing issues and can’t seem to enable the cheat, a quick restart of your emulator might resolve any lingering effects from previously applied cheats.
Hi – just wanted to post here because it wasn’t working for me but it does now. I enable the cheat once in battle and go to throw a master ball. Right before I throw it (on the screen that says, “USE”, I hold L+R for a few seconds and it works
Hey so im using Delta, I got 5 cheats and using 3 of em, im having trouble about the Rematch trainer battle, im holding down the R button, on my IOS. but to no avail, I dunno if it has to be a specific kind of trainer or what. And I made like at least a hour worth of game time progression.
Hi Diego, I don’t recommend enabling multiple cheats at the same time, as that’s often the reason why some cheats don’t work properly. Try activating only one cheat at a time for best results. Also, may I ask which DS emulator you’re using? It’s possible that you might need to reconfigure your key mappings so they match your keyboard correctly.
Well as for the emulator, im using Delta if that helps, I have a IOS, I even try to use”Rematch trainers Battles hold R” only that. And all the other cheats disabled but no avail
Just wanted to second this. Rematch Trainers doesn’t seem to work. I noticed that this is the exact code for Black 2, (Which it does work on Black 2) so IDK if this was an accident. If you have an updated code, please us know!
Hi so when I use the pokemon modifier code it gets stuck on the pokemon that I use. So say I use charizard no matter what I do charizard is the pokemon that comes up unless I change the cheat to a different pokemon it just gets stuck on the last pokemon cheat I use.. is there a fix for this?
Hey Chad, restarting your emulator while all cheats are disabled is usually the solution to this kind of problem. Unfortunately this is a very common issue with many DS emulators.
Hi, how could I use the other TM’s cause is in the other bag’s section and i ente to the move deleter to make more space but it doesn’t work… help :,(
