Drastic DS Emulator for Android

If you’re going to play this game on an Android device, the very best Nintendo DS emulator I recommend is the DraStic DS Emulator.

There are dozens of DS emulators on the Google Play Store, but these can’t beat the capability and features that Drastic offers.

The Drastic free version is enough to enjoy DS gaming, but the premium version offers full app usage.

Delta Game Emulator for iOS

For iOS users, I highly recommend using Delta – Game Emulator. It offers seamless DS emulation for many DS games and fully supports Action Replay Codes. We have tested the following cheats using Delta, and they all worked well.

DeSmuME for PC

DeSmuME is our recommended DS emulator on Windows PCs. All the cheats mentioned worked well with it. DeSmuME’s seamless DS emulation and compatibility with Action Replay Codes provide a smooth gaming experience for Windows users.

So, this is unrelated to the rom but I’m wondering if it’s possible if you (and your team members, idk if there’s several people who work on this) could make the roblox-pokemon game; pokemon brick bronze, the pokemon game thats on roblox.(quite frankly, one of the best unofficial pokemon games) if you could, that would be incredible and i’d say a lot of us would love it. perhaps make it into a rom with pokemon hgss graphics or something? If you’re interested in doing so, i’ll appreciate it if you could make it as accurate as possible <3

    p.s. I’m also asking because I would want to play pokemon brick bronze but i despise roblox in its current state.

    • Hey GokuAkumo, welcome here. After disabling, deleting or changing the Pokemon modifier cheat, try going in and out on entrances such as doors or caves, doing this can help clear up the game’s memory. If this doesn’t help, restart your emulator. Let me know how it goes to you.

    • Hi there! Try restarting your emulator to fully clear any previously applied cheats. Sometimes, even after manually disabling them, the game still detects those cheats. A full restart usually helps fix that. Let me know if this solution helps.

    • try a different emulator like DeSmuMe – I’ve found that one to be very easy to copy/paste the action replay codes and add them under the Tools tab right in the emulator,, most apply instantly or with hitting the R + L buttons without even the need to soft restart the game!

  14. Just want to show some love for what you guys have done and are doing! Thanks! That’s for all people involved in game emulation and any type of enhancement of them. You guys are amazing to do so much work (I can’t pretend to know what all goes into creating an emulator, or a rom, or a rom hack, or figuring out these codes, but goodness I’m certain that it is a chore just typing all these codes in! And I’m also sure that’s 100x easier than the 2nd easiest task) for very little,
    or no financial gain. As someone born in the 80s, who was an NES and SNES and Sega Genesis monster in the 90s, I missed out on handhelds cuz parents wouldn’t ever let me get any handheld system. They were convinced I’d lose it or break it and both would certainly have been very likely lol. But they also didn’t want to have to pat me down every time we went somewhere public or left the house to go somewhere I shouldn’t be playing gameboy. So it’s really totally awesome that I can dive into the one niche of gaming that I never was able to as a youngster. Hope you guys are all gaining whatever it is you hope to gain by doing the whole gaming community such a massive service.

    P.S. I know I just typed a lot, and no I’m not sorry. Let me just add this considering what I just said in my last sentence. DON’T end up like the dudes who invented Napster and fail to copy write and patten and protect your work in whatever other way you can (get a lawyers advice for reals) cuz the moment these Roms are monetized & ALL emulators cost something, & even cheat codes are somehow $1 per code use or wtvr, (ill bet u the first two happen before long, and the cheat codes? Don’t be shocked ppl) u will be either living on a yacht, or feeling like fools cuz someone who did a fraction of the work with a fraction of the talent is living on that same yacht because you were unprepared or naive or too nice or wtvr it might be. Im sure many of u guys ain’t doin this for money, and don’t even really want it, but those are the type of ppl who will do the world some good with it. Selfless hardworking ppl who gain fortune is way way better than someone who steals your work to get rich. I’d wager those ppl wouldn’t do all that much philanthropy let’s just say. So please, u don’t have to seek the $.. but I beg you guys, especially the ones who have really put your everything into this stuff, please protect yourself and your work so that the person who does just want $ can’t get any $ off of what you have spent so much of your time and energy and resources creating.
    And every time I said “guys” it means people, that means women who are involved in this stuff, everything I said applies to you too, I’m sure there are plenty of women who’ve got their hand in all aspects of game emulation and its enhancements.

  15. I’m using OpenEmu, I added the plus signs to the code where they need to go so that it works, and I’m still not getting rare candies. I’m pressing L+R but I’m not sure if I’m pressing the right buttons because nothing is working. Are L and R the bumpers of the DS or are they something else? I’ve tried all the DS buttons I can try but nothing is working. I have the cheat turned on, I added the plus signs, so I don’t understand what’s wrong. Help??

    • Hey Zeke, sorry to say this, but OpenEmu isn’t the best choice when it comes to using cheats. Although it excels at running retro games, its cheating functionalities are in need of an upgrade. Since you’re on macOS, I recommend switching to mGBA. It’s much more reliable for cheats and works great on Mac.

    • Hey Yami, these cheats works perfectly on Drastic. Are you using a non-English Diamond version? Because these cheats are specifically tested on English version only.

    • also be sure to hold down whatever button you configured for Select. The action replay code isn’t enough to trigger the encounter, you have to have the code turned on then hold down the select button as you start the encounter.. so walk around holding select and the first wild pokemon you see should be whatever legendary you put the code in for

    • Hi Ethan, it seems like your emulator continues to detect the cheat as enabled even after disabling it. This issue is quite common with various emulators. To resolve this problem, after deactivating the cheat, save your game progress, exit the game, and close the emulator. Next, reopen the game, and the effect of the cheat should be gone.

    • I found out how to stop encountering the same pokemon

      All you need to do is enable another legendary pokemon cheat that you havent used while the other one is disabled but don’t use it tho and then it will be back to normal

    • I’ve also had that issue. It worked initially and I caught about 10 pokemon but now it only gives me arceus. I am not using an emulator but rather using an old DS Lite and DS Action Replay, so that may be part of the problem, but hoping that this can be resolved cause it was great initially.

    • Hi there. I can assure you that these cheats works well on Delta Emulator. I have tested them myself, see here and they worked. Perhaps you have different version of Diamond rom?, I recommend using the (U)(Legacy) version or any US versions.

    • Hi I was wondering are there cheat codes for mystery gifts like Manaphy Egg? TRU Toys R Us Arceus which can be obtained through Delivaryman in the Pokémart, I think Toys R Us or TRU Arceus was distributed for all Gen 4 games. By the way all these cheat codes work perfectly well on Delta emulator, please make TRU Arceus available for all Gen 4 games.

    • You can’t stop them from leveling Up,But you can stop Evolutions by pressing B before the “oh **** is about to evolve” speech is gone..But to stop from level up? Just put them in the PC So they won’t be in fights and gain exp..IDK what to tell you…

  53. Heya, these codes are all great! Though I am playing through both Diamond and Pearl together to complete as much of the pokedex as I can legitimately, there are still pokemon that are unobtainable or downright ridiculous to try and catch. I wanted to mark the ones I cheated to get as Shiny, but sadly the code to encounter shiny wild pokemon seems to always crash my game.. I haven’t combined it with any other codes, might there be a way to fix it?

    • Did you just previously enabled a cheat beside the shiny? Even cheats are disabled after use, some other emulators requires to be restarted to take effect any changes made.

I used the Wild Pokemon Modifier to get Spiritomb because the original method to get him is complete garbage bs and it worked like a charm but now when I delete the cheat it doesn’t go away I still have all the masterballs and even after throwing them away running into the wild holding L still makes Spiritomb appear. Not a big issue but still one that’d be nice to fix.

    • I can definitely understand how you feel. I would suggest that you use the QuickEXP for your lower level Pokemon, probably between levels 1-35 and then you can use the SuperEXP for the higher levels after that. The time is about the same! I hope this advice is helpful to you!

  66. The Meet Shiny Pokemon code works, but the Wild Pokemon are Shiny code causes my game to freeze whenever I start an encounter. Also, my Pokemon are only shiny while the code is active, is there a code I can use that keeps the Pokemon shiny even when the cheat isn’t active? That way I can transfer shiny Pokemon to other games and they’ll stay shiny.

    • You maybe have other cheats enabled besides the shiny cheat? If yes, disable them. Having multiple cheats enabled at once can cause problems such as what you’ve experienced.

    • That surely not recommended Alan. All item cheat will just flood your bag with unusable items and will never make a room for any new items.

    Instructions:
    Press L+R, open your Bag and there should be 493 Master Balls in the first slot of the Items pocket. In order to get the Pokemon you want you need to throw away a number of Master Balls so the total Master Balls remaining equals the National Dex number of the Pokemon. Press L to activate the encounter. For example, if I wanted Chikorita I would throw away 341 balls to get 152 which is the National Dex number for Chikorita.

      • I believe it is unadvisable to use other game codes for different games. But most likely this one will most likely not work. Here is the one for Platinum…

        Wild Pokemon Modifier (with Level and Nature Modifier):

        Input the code first and follow the steps listed below

        1.You need to open your Calculator on your Poketch (If you don’t have the Poketch yet, then you can’t use the Wild Pokemon Modifier Code)
        2.On the Calculator, press the specific Pokemon National Pokedex Number that you want to encounter. Let’s say Charizard’s National Pokedex Number is 006 so press 6 on the calculator.
        3.Press the L button based on your configuration.
        4.Now press the C on the calculator which will clear the screen thus removing the 6.
        5.The next thing to do is input the number of the level you want the Pokemon to have. Remember the levels are only from 1 to 100.
        6.Press R this time after you input the level.
        7.Press C on the Calculator again to clear the level number.
        8.The last part is to input the number of the desired Nature that you want the Wild Pokemon to have which is from 0 to 24. (The Nature List is provided below)
        9.Press Select this time to finish.
        10.Finally, hit the C on the calculator one last time.
        11.Now, just find a wild encounter to fight your modified Wild Pokemon.

        It is also important to note that this cheat is also somewhat a Wild Pokemon level and Nature modifier. One important thing to note is that some of the codes for specific Pokemon may not cause the Pokemon to appear. This usually happens for Legendary Pokemon so you can just RUN from the battle if the Pokemon isn’t appearing.

  73. Just out of curiosity, are all of these cheat codes universally compatible with (almost) any and all cheating devices? Mainly asking because 1, I own an Action Replay DS EZ cartridge and they have become hard to come by nowadays (also, they are no longer supported), and 2, I tried to manually input a random encounter cheat into my spare cartridge (also DS EZ), and ended up corrupting it beyond repair.
