What if the Gen 2 and Gen 4 games met halfway and created a true Gen 3-style Johto adventure? That is exactly what Pokemon Heart and Soul delivers.
It takes the best parts of HeartGold and SoulSilver and rebuilds them into a full GBA game, complete with the entire Johto region, the Kanto post-game, and every Pokemon from generations 1 to 3.
If you want a classic Johto experience with the charm and speed of the Game Boy Advance era, this ROM hack is one of the best ways to play it.
And if you are searching for Pokemon Heart and Soul cheats, you are in the right place. We have compiled every working cheat code and tested them hands-on to make sure they work exactly as intended.

Infinite Exp. + One-hit KO

This cheat gives your Pokemon infinite Exp. when it wins a battle and also works as a one-hit KO cheat.
How to Use: Activate the cheat to gain infinite Exp. Disable it if you want your Pokemon to stop leveling up further.
Important One-hit KO rule: Speed is crucial in this cheat because if your Pokemon goes first, the opposing Pokemon is one-hit KOed. But if the opponent’s Pokemon is faster, your Pokemon will faint in one hit.

Hey Ankur, welcome! Unfortunately, those cheats aren’t available for ROM hacks like this. Since the game is heavily modified, many regular cheats we know don’t work or can cause issues. If we ever find a working version, we’ll make sure to share it to you guys.

Forgot to add – in v1.2.1, once item cheat turned ON;
Go to Pokemart
Pick Buy
Scroll to 2nd option – item set with cheat code will be on 2nd option instead of 1st option.
Thanks for the follow up message, I appreciate it.

got a bad egg lol
From which cheat?
I got a bad egg by using inf pp, masterballs & buy inf repel so could be any of them but just having one bad egg in slot 1 in pokemon storage is nothing it doesn’t seem to affect the game just takes up one spot.
How do you breed a Happiny Egg? There is no Luck Incense in this game, and you can’t view a Happiny Pokédex page for obtaining method even if you saw one
I don’t understand
You can breed Chansey with Heart Scale to get Happiny egg.
Cheats work!
However, they have a cost of 20000 and they are replaced in Super ball space
I have a question, do you have a walk through wall cheat? Because I can’t get past the man in Mahogany town that seemingly gives you an infinite amount Rage Candy Bars.
Hey Law, welcome! Unfortunately, there’s no Walk Through Walls cheat for this game right now. The game is heavily modified, which makes many of the popular cheats we know either not work properly or cause glitches.
Alright thank you!
How do you get battle points for the saffron city dojo to buy the moves?
None of the cheats are working for me and I have the most up to date version of the game

for unli pp
Hi Diznut, welcome to Pokemoncoders. Let’s ask other players to confirm if the works.
– Anyone here can help us verify if this unlimited PP cheat works? Your feedback is greatly appreciated.
Yes this code does work. Tested on v1.20, using Pizza Boy Pro emulator.
Does anyone found cheatcodes for walkthrough wall?
Just tried this now and yes it is working
Amazing! Thank you for sharing your feedback, Chip. I appreciate it.
I can’t get any of the cheats to work
Same
Not a single one
First of all, the code provided here is wrong. This one worked for me for Unlimited Rare Candy:
82026AF4 00E3
And here is a proper guide how to use it:
1. Load the game
2. Open RetroArch
3. Main Menu -> Quick Menu -> Cheats
4. Add New Cheat to Top (or Bottom)
5. Important settings:
Enabled: ON
Code: 82026AF4 00E3
6. Go back and: Apply Changes
7. Go to a PokeMart
8. Buy the item that costs 0 PokeDollar
9. Open your Bag, navigate to KEY ITEMS and USE Rare Candy Box
10. For Unlimited Money, you can now sell your 999 Rare Candy, and then use the Rare Candy Box again to get 999 Rare Candy
Hi there, mate. Welcome, and thank you for sharing the correct code along with the guide.
When a new version of a game is released, the cheat codes often change as well, so your update is truly helpful. I’ve added this information to the page to make sure RetroArch players know how to properly use the cheat in their emulator.
Really appreciate you taking the time to share this with the community.
