What Is Flash in Pokemon Infinite Fusion?

In Pokemon Infinite Fusion, Flash is labelled as HM08. When used in battle, it will reduce an enemy Pokemon’s accuracy.

It has no damage, but it has a 100% accuracy hit rate. Outside of battle, Flash is used to illuminate dark places.

You will need to have one Badge, in order for you to use Flash outside of battle. Using it during battle doesn’t need any requirement.

Lantern: The Other Item For Illuminating Dark Places

Flash comes in HM; however, there is an item called the Lantern. This Lantern is able to perform Flash outside of battle.

You don’t even need a Pokemon to have Flash in your team. When you have the Lantern, you can light up those dark places without the need of a Pokemon.

Scientist NPC Who Gives You HM08 and Lantern.

Let’s get to the point on how to get Flash in Pokemon Infinite Fusion. All you need to do is to finish a quest from the NPCs in a Hotel.

Once you finish one quest, head to a Hotel again, and the Scientist NPC there will reward you with HM08 Flash. That is the way to get Flash as an HM.

If you want to get the Lantern, all you need to do is finish 10 Hotel quests and redeem it from the same Scientist NPC.

More Details of the Hotels in the Game

To give you an idea, a hotel is located in select areas around the world. In the image below, you can see the hotel in Pewter City.

Inside the hotel, there are a lot of NPCs who will give you quests. Don’t forget about the Scientist NPC.

The NPCs inside the hotel will give you different quests. Each one has their own, and you need to complete one of them just to get HM08.

Choosing the Right Quest

You only need to finish one of their quests, and we’ll give you an idea of how hard or easy their quests can be. This will let you decide which one you want to do.

When you arrive in Pewter City, this is the very first hotel you can enter. In the image below, you can see three NPCs who will give you a quest in the Pewter City hotel.

Mushroom Gathering

The woman NPC on the left will ask you to give her 3 Tiny Mushrooms. You can get these mushrooms in Viridian Forest.

If you already got them as you were making your way through Viridian Forest, then you’ll be done right away. If not, then gather them, but they are random.

You’ll either get a Tiny Mushroom or a Poison Mushroom. The mushrooms will regenerate after a period of time if you don’t find any more.

This one may take a bit of time, so probably choose this last, unless you already have the Tiny Mushrooms. She will reward you with a Balm Mushroom.

Bug Evolution

The NPC in the middle will ask you to show him a fully evolved Bug-type Pokemon. You can do this by showing him a Butterfree or a Beedrill.

Both their initial versions, namely Caterpie and Weedle, can be caught in the Viridian Forest, which you had to travel through to get to Pewter City.

Metapod and Kakuna are also available to catch if you want to do it faster. Only time is your factor here, since leveling these up may take longer.

If you’re in no rush to get Flash, then this is a good quest to do, but do it as the second-best choice. The NPC will give you a Pineco as a reward.

Lost Medicine

This is probably the best quest to get if you want to get Flash the fastest. The NPC on the right will ask you to find his Revive.

All you need to do now is search every bench in Pewter City to find it. The location is random, so you need to check every bench.

This is the fastest, since there are limited benches and you may be able to get it right away. The NPC will also reward you with TM Frustration when you finish it.

In Closing

There you have it, a complete guide on how to get Flash in Pokemon Infinite Fusion.

You don’t need to get this right away, but you’re already given the right opportunity to do it. All the quests are doable, and the rewards are worth it.

Don’t forget about getting the Lantern as well. When you complete 10 hotel NPC quests, you can get it anywhere.

Plus, the scientist NPC will give you the data about the quest numbers you have and those that you have completed.
