Generation VI brought the following games such as Pokemon X, Y, Omega Ruby, and Alpha Sapphire into us. ORAS was an overall remake of Gen 3 but the games still took place in Hoenn. In X and Y though, the games take place in Kalos, which is the new Region for this Generation.
Aside from the new Pokemon and mechanics, there are also the different Kalos Gym Leaders that we can tackle. It is still the same Pokemon scheme where you fight Eight Gym Leaders. That’s why we’re here to help guide you when it comes to all of these Gym Leaders that you’ll be facing.

In Closing
These are all the eight Kalos Gym Leaders that you’ll encounter while playing Pokemon X or Y. They can be very formidable when you’re not prepared. That’s why this list is there to help you prepare when you find out what their Pokemon lineup is along with their moves. Preparations are only half the battle because executing them during the actual battles is entirely different.
It’s also worth noting that Valerie is the first Fairy-type Gym Leader in the series. That’s a given since the Fairy-type is introduced in Gen 6. Regardless, these Gym Leaders specialize in specific types so you may want to prepare yourself. Then again, most people will grind a necessary Pokemon just to win the battles.
