Hoenn is the Region where Pokemon Generation III games have taken place. This means that it has a lineup of Gym Leaders for players to tackle. The initial games in this region are Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald.
Emerald has its set of Gym Leaders but pretty much the same as Ruby and Sapphire, with mild differences when it comes to the roster and one Gym Leader. However, the Hoenn Gym Leaders aren’t just limited to these games.
Keep in mind that Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire were remakes of this game, so the Gym Leaders are back. This list will help you find out what Pokemon the Leaders have.

These are the 8 Hoenn Gym Leaders that you encounter in Ruby, Sapphire, Omega Ruby, and Alpha Sapphire. One thing to note is that Wallace is not in Emerald but as we stated, we already have a different list for its Gym Leaders. The arrangements can be the same when it comes to which order you face them.
There are notable differences between the RS and ORAS games with the Leader’s Pokemon teams. The levels are different as well as some of the rewards. The Moves also vary because ORAS has Fairy-types but they are already mentioned on the list so you don’t have to worry about it.
