Ways to obtain Lucario in Pokemon Legends ZA
Here are three ways to add a Lucario to your Pokemon Legends ZA team:
Method 1: Catching and Evolving a Riolu
If you want to get a Lucario as early as possible, this will be your go-to method. You can start by catching a Riolu, practice the most common ways to increase its Friendship, and it should be ready to evolve into a Lucario with high Friendship in the daytime.
Riolu is one of the few Pokemon that can’t be found in any of Lumiose City’s Wild Zones. Instead, you need to go to this area of the map on the top floor of the building north of Quarsartico Inc.
Keep in mind that for a Riolu to spawn, you should go to that area during a sunny day. There’s even a good chance that you’ll encounter an Alpha Riolu, so be prepared for battle and bring lots of Ultra Balls.
Method 2: Catching a Wild Lucario in Wild Zone 20
Once you get access to Wild Zone 20, which is located right at the heart of Lumiose City, you can find a Wild Lucario easily right at the southwest section of that area. If you’re trying to catch every Pokemon from Wild Zones 1-20, you’ll eventually come across a Lucario at some point.
