There are a ton of Pokemon Crystal-based ROM hacks out there. That’s just the legacy or proof of how good Pokemon Crystal is. One of those hacks is Pokemon Polished Crystal.
This hack has been around for years and has been getting updates. It has a lot of features, like having more Pokemon beyond Gen 2.
They also added the physical and special split, as well as the Fairy type. Evolving Pokemon through trading can also be done in this hack.

There aren’t many cheats available for Pokemon Polished Crystal right now, but we managed to find a few that actually work. The list may be small, but the good news is, they get the job done.

Pokemon Polished Crystal Cheats
These are the only Pokemon Polished Crystal cheats that we could muster. There’s an unlimited money cheat that you can just use right away. The rest are all item modifier cheats.
Just change the AA to the specific item code that you want. That item will then be in your bag, occupying the first slot of the Meds section.
Changing the cheat will change the item as well, but make sure there is an item there.
NOTE: The cheats work for the latest version, which is 3.1.1. It may not work for older versions, so just a heads up.

There are a lot of added factors in 3.1.1 where you can adjust settings. Maybe that’s why these cheats work for this version, but feel free to test it on whatever version you have.

I managed to find a cheat code that gives you Rare Candy on v3.2!
Heads up; it’ll convert the item on the 2nd slot on Rare Candies and won’t interact in any way with the quantity of it… I suggest you buy x99 Antidotes, place them in the bag’s 2nd position, activate the cheat to convert them and repeat!

Yes, worked for me! The rare candies show up in the ‘Meds’ slot if you use that exact method (obviously, since antidotes are meds), but it didn’t corrupt the save or anything.

my bad, the rare candy one gives 48 of whatever is in the 1st slot of the medicine bag I typed too fast
I have some other news. The two community-shared cheat codes only affect the quantity of the first item in their respective bags. The Max Repel code increases the amount of whatever item is in the first slot of the Item Bag to 95, while the Rare Candy code changes the first-slot item amount to 48.
Playing 3.2.2 and it works perfectly! Will have to keep this in mind

I would also be very interested in a working Master Ball code. The one listed above just puts corrupted Park Balls in your ball space in the bag and you can’t seem to remove them because the game crashes when you do. Thanks in advance!
Put the code of whatever medicine item you want in the slot where it says XX after taking XX out. this code does not affect the amount of the item only what item you have. so if you want 99 pewter crunch buy 99 antidotes then turn on the code. It only affects items in the second medicine bag slot though. It doesn’t cause any issues unless you try to use it for items that don’t belong in the medicine bag. Also the max repel code on here gives 95 of whatever is in slot 1 of the items bag.
