If you want to catch Legendary Pokemon right from the start or steamroll every Trainer you face, this list of Pokemon Dawn X cheats lets you do almost anything in this 3DS ROM hack.
Pokemon Dawn X is one of the few ROM hacks built on Pokemon X. Its creator, Castlesea, noted that the project draws inspiration from Pokemon Eternal X, another well-known 3DS hack.
As of now, Pokemon Dawn X is still a work in progress. The biggest changes so far include making all 721 Pokemon available in the wild, along with easier access to Mega Evolutions and trade evolutions. The most recent update also adds a difficulty bump by raising the levels of each gym leader’s team.
And if those changes still aren’t enough for you, nothing’s stopping you from using the cheats we’ve compiled. Go ahead and dominate Kalos all over again!

A Note for First-Timers
Is it your first time using cheats? Using cheats on 3DS emulators like Citra isn’t that difficult compared to using codes on GBA emulators.
The most noticeable change, however, is the availability of codes for a specific ROM version of a 3DS game. Thankfully, this hack is based on the 1.0 version of Pokemon X, so if you just followed the creator’s instructions of setting up the ROM hack, you don’t have to worry about the compatibility of our Pokemon Dawn X cheats anymore.
We tested the cheats below using the Azahar emulator, a fork of Citra. Our featured cheat codes are mainly designed for the Citra emulator, but they should also work as well as newer ones, especially if they are Citra forks.
We previously made a complete guide on using cheats on Citra, so better check that out in case you have no idea how to apply codes yet.
And lastly, if you experienced some issues, like a corrupted save file upon activating a cheat, the first fix that you can try is to restart the emulator, and before opening the game, disable all of its cheats. If that didn’t resolve the problem, you should have a backup of your save file.
To back up your save file, you have to identify its location. Here’s a tutorial about transferring save files on Citra, which is especially helpful in finding your games’ save files so you can copy and paste some uncorrupted backup saves.
