Due to the complexities of editing 3DS Pokemon games, we only have a few ROM hacks available on the platform.Â
And even if you managed to get one that’s worth playing, using specific tools to convert the hack’s raw file into a playable form can be quite overwhelming for most beginners.
Nevertheless, once you actually play a 3DS hack like Pokemon XY Deluxe, you will see that all the effort of downloading and setting up the hack is absolutely worth it.
Pokemon XY Deluxe is a Pokemon Y-based hack that provides a complete overhaul of the vanilla game, except for the story. Here, everything is almost available—you can capture all the exclusives of X and Y, evolve trade Pokemon by other means, and get all mega evolutions, among other things.
The creator also introduced some new things in the hack, like a different set of starters, which mirrors Pokemon Legends: Z-A, random gifts after battle, and a different variety of wild Pokemon in every area.
Even if you can literally get everything in Pokemon XY Deluxe, we still compiled a list of cheats that interested players might want to use.

Reminders for Newbies
These cheats have been tested on the Azahar emulator, one of Citra’s forks. We attached several screenshots to prove that they work. If you don’t know how cheat 3DS games, we made a separate tutorial for using cheats on Citra.
Also, don’t forget to back up your save file. We won’t be responsible if you messed up and got your files corrupted. But as long as you follow our instructions carefully and you know how to apply the cheats on the emulator, your files should be fine.
Initial fix for a corrupted save file: Restart your emulator, then before opening your game, uncheck all of its active cheats, and initiate the game.
