In terms of gameplay, it is still similar to the main games where it is turn-based, and you command your Pokemon to use moves and win the fight. A great difference is that in this game, there are no random encounters.

You fight trainers and catch their Pokemon. That’s right, instead of getting Pokemon in the wild, you steal or Snag the enemy trainer’s Pokemon. However, we’re not going into full detail about the game because this is our Pokemon Colosseum cheats, hints, tips, and tricks list. We’ll add instructions and whatever things you need to do to use these cheats.

Obtaining the Master Ball

When you beat the game and have all Badges, Eagun will email you. Go talk to him in Agate Village, and he’ll give you the Master Ball.

Obtaining the EXP Share

The EXP Share is located in Eagun’s House. Go behind the house and down the slope where the EXP Share is inside a chest.

Obtaining the Cologne Case

Go to Agate Village and head east of the Pokemon Center. You’ll find a girl in a blue dress, talk to her and simply answer NO, and you’ll get the Cologne Case.

Obtaining the Disks

There are several Disks in the game which has varying functions that you can use.

You can use these codes as actual cheats to manipulate the game to get what you want.

  • The D-Disk is located in Snagem’s Hideout once you defeat Head Gonzap
  • The F-Disk is located in Mt. Battle once you defeat Dakim
  • The L-Disk is located in the Herb Shop when you give the Silver Teeth to the old man
  • The R-Disk is located in the Under of a child locked inside a cage
  • The U-Disk is located in the Subway near boxes where there is a chest

Obtaining the Time Flutes

The Time Flutes are valuable items in the game because they Purify your Pokemon right away. There are only three of them that you can get, so choose wisely which Pokemon you will use them on. People recommend using the Time Flutes on the Legendary Dogs Suicune, Entei, and Raikou, but it is up to you. This is definitely one of the most useful Pokemon Colosseum cheats or hints that you can use.

  • The first Time Flute is obtained when you defeat Dakim
  • The second Time Flute is obtained once you put the U-Disk in the UFO and it is in the room inside the chest
  • The third Time Flute is obtained in the 100th Mt. Battle Arena

Unlimited Master Ball or any Ball

This is more of a glitch but a useful one if it works. You need to have a Master Ball and at least one Poke Ball. During the battle, select the Master Ball on your first Pokemon. When it comes to your second Pokemon, open the Items menu and press Y. Swap the Master Ball with the Poke Ball, and if you did it correctly, the first Pokemon will throw a Poke Ball but has the catch rate of the Master Ball.

One thing to note is that this glitch may not work all the time. It usually depends on the version of the game or if you did it correctly. This glitch can also be used when you don’t have a Master Ball yet. What you do is change the Master Ball into any Ball. It could be an Ultra Ball or Nest Ball, but the result is that you’ll be using the Poke Ball and not use up the others.

Reducing Your Pokemon’s Heart Gauge or Purifying Trick

This a glitch that is tricky to execute but can be worth your while when you want to reduce the Heart Gauge of your Pokemon, so follow these steps; and a good addition to our Pokemon Colosseum cheats, hints, tips, and tricks list.

Pokcolpurify
  1. Have the Pokemon in your party whose Heart Gauge you want to be reduced.
  2. Head to Agate Village.
  3. Take a look at the image below, that is where you need to be, and there’s a bridge below, but you don’t need to go down the bridge.
  4. What you need to do now is a walk in that area in the image until the screen starts jittering or shaking.
  5. When you do this correctly, you have several options to keep your character walking. That’s because walking helps reduce the Pokemon’s Heart Gauge, which is also known as Purifying.
  6. Your first option is to just hold on to the button that makes your character walk downwards. However, remember that Purifying takes hours to complete.
  7. The other option is to tape the button or have something apply pressure on it as if you’re pressing the button to keep your character walking, thus doing the Purifying procedure.
  8. This last option is tricky because when your character is in that spot, remove your controller.
  9. Once the controller is removed, hold the button that lets your character walk downward, then plug it back in.
  10. If you did it correctly, your character would keep walking downward while the screen is jittering and you don’t need to hold down the button.
  11. Some people let this trick go overnight so their Pokemon’s Heart Gauge is completely down by morning.

Unlocking the Trade Machine

The Trade Machine allows you to trade Pokemon from Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire. In order to unlock the Trade Machine, simply defeat the boss and complete Realgam’s Colosseum.

Unlocking Level 50 and 100 Battles in the Orre Colosseum

In order to unlock the Level 50 Battles, complete the Phenac Stadium, Pyrite Colosseum, and Under Colosseum in Single and Double battle modes.

In order to unlock the Level 100 Battles, complete the Tower Colosseum in Single and Double battle modes.

Accessing the Team Snagem Hideout

In order to access the Team Snagem Hideout, you need to finish the main game first. Then, head to Pyrite Town and head to the bookshelf where there’s a secret passage. Talk to anyone of the kids and head to the entrance of Pyrite Town where Cail is hanging. Battle Cail and beat him, where he will then give you a map. The map will show you where Team Snagem’s Hideout is, where there are lots of trainers to do battle.

Obtaining the Amulet Coin

Finish the game first and go to the Deep Colosseum. You’ll find a Silver Teeth item which you need to give to the old man located at the Herb Shop. The old man will give you the UFO Disk-L which will enable you to obtain the Amulet Coin. The Amulet Coin gives you more money after each battle when equipped with a Pokemon.

Fast Money Trick

This trick requires Pokemon Ruby or Sapphire. When you finish the game, you will have access to the Trade Machine. In your copy of Pokemon Ruby or Sapphire, you can have an amount of Nuggets that you can get in-game.

Muk or Grimer that has Pickup ability can get these Nuggets at an unlimited amount. We also don’t advise it, but if you have a means of cheating Ruby or Sapphire where you can get a lot of Nuggets, then that’s good.

What you need to do next is simply give a Pokemon from Ruby or Sapphire that you’re going to trade to Colosseum with a Nugget. Remove the Nugget and trade it back again so that you can put another Nugget, and the process repeats itself. The Nuggets you get can be sold in Pokemon Colosseum for a good amount of money, and it’s faster.

In closing

These are just a couple of Pokemon Colosseum cheats, hints, tips, and tricks that you can use to put extra excitement of your gaming experience. There could be more out there, but these pretty much cover up the important things.
