For some reason, the button that served as the SELECT function in the game wasn’t working. As soon as I tested your suggestion and switched to the left trigger, it worked. Strangely, though, other functions like RESET with L+R+SELECT+START still worked. Anyway, I really appreciate the suggestion it truly helped.

The emulator I use is MelonDS, and I run it on my PC. As for the SELECT button, I don’t think that’s the issue, since the L+R+START+SELECT reset works just fine. The specific situation is that I’m doing a shiny hunt, and since the game has more than five possible Pokémon per wild encounter area, I decided to use a code to make only one of those five appear (to preserve my sanity). However, as soon as I activated the code, it didn’t work. Other codes like 2x speed, rematch, IV, and EV work perfectly. I’ll try checking the key mapping, and if that turns out to be the problem, I’ll come back to thank you.
The cheat to capture a specific Pokémon isn’t working. I’ve already entered the Pokémon’s code (Litwick) and pressed Select, but nothing happens. And yes, I set the cheat as an AR code. If you could tell me what might be going wrong, I’d appreciate it.
Hello Retrô Gamer, may I know which DS emulator you are using? Perhaps you have different key settings assigned to your SELECT button, and remapping may be needed.
Possible the healing item cheat bugged out the TM/HM section, but tried using the TM/HM cheat and it replaced my current got rid of my HMs and replaced it all with TMs. If anyone else is playing this specific ROM, use the TM/HM cheat early so it does not get rid of your HMs.

Sorry Aukry, but majority of our readers do not use 3DS when playing these games. The game works well only for DS emulators.
Hey, so you’re aware, Full restores and max potions (and some other items) upon using the cheat will register them as TMs instead of healing items. Is there a way to fix this?
Hey Seb, thanks for joining us! Since **Volt White** is a ROM hack, bugs can occasionally occur, and it sounds like the issue you’re experiencing is one of them. Unfortunately, this is something beyond our control, and we’re unable to provide a fix.
Be careful using the item codes, I ended up with Full Restores and other healing items in my TMs section and when trying to further the game I was given Fly but I couldn’t actually take it due to my TMs section having the Fly slot as some healing item, Fly wasn’t on the list at all.

Do NOT use the shiny code, it WILL corrupt your entire box. ALL of my pokemon are corrupted in the box. Please Please do not make the same mistake I did. It’s not worth it.
