Gameplay

If you have played Pokemon Red and Blue game titles before, you will notice that FireRed and LeafGreen versions follow the same plot. The game sets in Pallet town where Professor Oak will give you one Pokemon of your choice and the same as with your childhood rival Gary. These three Pokemon to choose – Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle.

Your first Pokemon battle begins after you, and your rival Gary receives a Pokemon. During a match or wild Pokemon encounter, the player can choose either to fight, switch Pokemon, check the bag and run.

New locations and Pokemon introduced in FireRed and LeafGreen; the goal is to defeat Elite Four and to collect all eight gym badges. There are plenty of cool things you can do in FR/LG such as raising Pokemon and capturing strong legendary Pokemon from its secret location on the map.

Other Information

Cheats through Gameshark codes can interact with Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen. Cheats are used to play and enjoy the game with extra features. However, cheating is not fully supported.

Important: Activating too many cheats at once can cause a game to confuse resulting in different problems such as a sudden crash, bad eggs, and glitches. Save your game before activating any cheats.
