Hey Yannick, yes—you need to press and hold SELECT to trigger the encounter, then you can release it once the encounter begins.
If the cheat isn’t working for you, check your emulator settings to see which keyboard key is assigned to the SELECT button. You may need to remap it in the control settings to make sure it’s correctly set. Once that’s done, try the cheat again and it should work as intended. Let me know if you need help with the settings!

For the Wild Pokemon Modifier, I even emptied all the pokeballs for this method. And after that, still nothing regarding the Master ball, and the ultra ball showing up. And it’s the Black 2 251 edition complete v2.1 (US)
You forgot to say that if you use the badge cheat before they are defeated you will have a bug where the NPC won’t let you pass even though you have the badge.

Hello Shaym, I’ve made an update to the cheat list and added the alternative cheat code for the no random encounter, give it a try. Also, please note on the version we use when testing these cheats and I highly recommend using English version of Black 2.
Using Desmume and the wild Pokémon modifier isn’t working, neither do any of the others that require me to press L + R. I think the cheats will work fine unless they require multiple button presses simultaneously, could be wrong but that seems to be what’s happening for me.
We’re currently in the process of creating a guide on how to use the controls of Desmume. We’ll publish it soon. Our team identified the main issue, which is due to different key mappings in DesMuMe. To fix this, instead of pressing L and R on your keyboard, press Q and W. Let me know if this trick worked for you.

Perhaps you have a non-english Pokemon Black 2 version? Because majority of cheats only works for English versions.
The modifier cheat won’t work. I entered it, check my bag but there’s no Ultra Balls and Master Balls. Is there an extra step that I’m missing to see the items in my bag?
Hi Shiranui, please note that most cheats require specific key combinations to be pressed to activate them. For instance, the 900 Master balls cheat requires pressing L+R to enable it. If you don’t press the correct combination, the cheat won’t work at all. Additionally, it’s important to be mindful of not overusing cheats. I always recommend enabling only one cheat at a time and avoiding combining cheats with each other. I hope this helps.

when selecting the pc, you need to click on “withdraw” or “move” -pokemon instead of “deposit”, because deposit only lets you put pokemon in.

Do not activate two or more cheats at once. Doing so will result in glitching. To clear up the cheats in the settings, some emulators require you to exit the game and reopen it again. But before doing it, save your game progress.
All item cheat jus restarts game
Hi Lee, there may be other cheats enabled in addition to the item cheat. If that’s the case, please disable those cheats while leaving the item cheat untouched. Sometimes, with certain emulators, you may need to restart your game or the emulator for the changes to take effect. I hope this information is helpful.

Your emulator ought to have a Cheats function, for example in DeSmuME it should be under Tools. Try to find it in your emulator’s menu and look for wherever it allows you to input an Action Reply code

I believe they missed out on a step. You have to press select to get the pokeballs in the inventory and the after deleting down press l and r at the same time to encounter the pokemon in your next wild fight. I remember reading this from the original source the cheat came from.

Hey. So Ive been trying to find an All Items code that doesn’t freeze my game. I keep coming across the same item code that’s listed here. We got the wild encounter to work. We sat in a grass patch, pressed L R and START and that gave us the master/ultra balls.

Delete the replay code save restart game redo cheat with other pokemon that you want. From my experience you can only modify wild appearance once per pokemon if you just add a new code on top of the other the first modified wild will be the first one found by the system hence you keep getting the same pokemon even tho you’ve entered numours codes I assume . I finally figured it out. Pressing select with the wild Pokemon modifier refills the needed Pokeballs for it to work. Then just go down from there but don’t swap your Pokeballs with this code on, it messes up the game

Yo I was using the wild Pokemon modifier I changed the number of master balls to 386 that the number for deoxys i also got 100 ultra balls i walk into the grass press l and t at the same time and it says An Error Occurred please restart power. You dont need a cheat code for that, just use the universal randomizer and edit the settinhs there. Change the setting to “Full TM/HM compatability”. This mean all and every tm/hm is usable by ALL pokemons. EX: magikarp that can use dragon claw and focus punch🤣🤣🤣
So how do I disable the cheat to guarantee a certain pokemon encounter? I tried removing it from the cheats menu but I’m still just encountering level 20 archens.
Nvm, I found it out literally a few minutes after asking. Just use the in-game save and load feature instead of the save/load state of the emulator then everything’s back to normal.
Try restarting your emulator, some emulators cannot detect changes until restarted.

i don’t really know for volt black, but all of the ones i tried worked fine on moon black 2!

That’s possible.
They do, but if you’re looking to use the encounter cheat; you must use it according to Moon Black 2’s pokedex, as the dex #s are different than in Black 2 due to add / sub pokemon.

for the wild encounters, no matter how many master balls i have in my bag, i always get Genesect. The ultra balls for the level works fine tho. any idea why this is happening?

We use NA version of the game, these many not work for Jap or EU.
