Which is the best Pokemon I should use
Gameโs good overall, just some gripes.
1) Unavoidable trainer battles. On one hand itโs useful cause you level up your Pokรฉmon, on the other hand itโs terribly annoying, cause the routes are way too long, not to mention
2) The rivals. Jesus Christ, who the hell came up with the idea of like 4 rivals? Most of them show up in completely stupid places just to troll you, while also being weak enough to the point where they are not a threat, but a nuisance. I liked how one of them came out of the entrance of a gym, having acquired his badge, and his Pokรฉmon were fully healed and immediately started battling me. The creators couldโve at least added a yes or no option to those battles. Also, those 2 trainers, Lunick and the other chick are completely irrelevant and only there to hinder your progress. I could understand Red, Diamond and Kenta, but those 2 have no reason to exist.
3) Way too many good items, way too little space in the bag. I guess that must have been a game limitation though so Iโm not that salty.
Thatโs all. Nice game, but those 3 points set it back quite a bit.
Also, 7 more gripes, now that I finished the game. Wall of text incoming, so brace yourselves.
1) The economy is wack to the point where you get way too little money for defeating trainers (the E4 champ gives you like 4000 while in the original games the first battle gives you 5000), but you still lose half your money if you lose in a battle.
2) Some cities you cannot fly to, dunno why, they either forgot to code it or they couldnโt.
3)There is no indication on how to find cresselia and darkrai, anywhere. Usually, the NPCs should give you some sort of hint, but there is nothing to guide you. Thank god for walkthroughs.
4) Some legendaries were equipped with moves like self destruct, roar and explosion. Thank god for save states.
5) Exp values are all over the place at times. Killing a Venipede gives you like 2k exp, but an Aggron gives you like 50.
6) Lack of a map item (maybe I havenโt found where it is, but itโs usually on the starting town). I know there is a map at Pokรฉmon centers, but having to go to one to plan your route is inconvenient. Whatโs more, looking at the map through the fly HM does not show the names of every city.
7) The conversion of like seven TMs into out-of-battle usable moves. While this is really creative and I give props to the DEVs for this, it is a terrible inconvenience when it comes to what Pokรฉmon you can have in your party so you can adventure without having to swap them all the time. There are 8 HMs and 7 or 8 other TMs you can use out of battle, so 16 moves in total. Assuming your Pokรฉmon can learn all of those, you need 4 Pokรฉmon that have those moves with you at all times, leaving only 2 places in your party for whatever Pokรฉmon you want. Not to mention that said TMs are single use, so if you make a mistake and delete a move, toss a TM or release the Pokรฉmon that had it, you have to restart your game from scratch.

its shiny pokemon, the only difference is color sometimes and it doesnโt change the stats of pokemons.

No. There is another that has it, itโs called Light Platinum Plus. The problem is that the final event, World Championship is bugged and canโt be played.

The IPS file isnโt accepted by the patcher. Using the Lunar one that is suggested.
Rename the patch so it doesnโt have any special characters like ()- I Just renamed it Pokemon Light platinum and it accepted it.

I donโt see how to post my own comment but where is the berry blender for making poke blocks for contests. Also I would like to know where the name rater is. Pokemon that are given to you donโt get a option to nickname them.
There seems to be a bug where at the point of my Charmandersโ evolution, the game freezes. I have not tried this with other starters personally but I know folks whoโve experienced this same problem with other starters as well.
Just for the record Iโve tried restarting the rom multiple times and even on two different emulators (mGBA and no$gba). The problem still persists. Oddly enough, the bug is not present on my android device using the My Boy emulator, although Iโd have very much preferred to play on my laptop.

I donโt know how to make a comment here so I replied to another comment. I had a lvl 39 krokorok and at lvl 40 it evolved into krokodile or something and he got set back 5 levels. Now I got a lvl 35 krokodile?????????? Please fix this
That happens because Krokodileโs line is not included in Hoenn Pokedex. IT just takes the place of another pokemon. In other words, the pokรฉmon that was replaced by Krokorok, and ITโs preevolution needed a specific amount of exp to get to level 40, then, Krokodile replaced a pokemon that belonged to another evolution line, that required that same amount of exp to get to lv 35.
Is it possible to put in pokemon centers top floor with computers for linking like in original games?

How do u get to work this thing on my BOY
This is Ruby ROM hack, so you need a Pokemon Ruby ROM (Check emuparadise) and using your MyBoy, head over to MSC -> ROM Patching (check this). After that, rename light Platinum ips file the same name as with your Ruby. I will create a tutorial for that, stay tuned.
