You can get the DexNav from Prof. Log’s sister in Blizzard City. Go northwest of the city and enter the house. Go upstairs, and you should find a pair of scientists. The female will give you the DexNav.
The DexNav is a great device that lets you search and scan for Pokemon in your area. For example, I’m at Magnolia Fields, and let’s say I’m looking for a Tranquill with the Hidden Ability Rivalry.
All I need to do is go to my DexNav, register Tranquill, and press R to scan for it in tall grass.
