What Are Egg Vouchers in PokeRogue?
Egg Vouchers are a special item in PokeRogue that allows you to get Eggs without the traditional breeding process. These vouchers are used as currency or payment to get a spin on the Egg Gacha machines.

Each spin rewards you with a Pokemon Egg of varying rarity, and the more vouchers you have, the more spins you can get.
Types of Egg Vouchers
Here are the types of vouchers you can obtain and use in the game. All of them can be used in any of the three Egg Gacha machines.
| Egg Voucher Type | Usage |
|---|---|
| Regular Egg Voucher | Using it will give you one Egg, and using it 10x will guarantee a Rare Egg. |
| Egg Voucher Plus | This voucher gives you 5 Eggs upon use. |
| Egg Voucher Premium | This voucher gives you 10 Eggs and one of them is a guaranteed Rare. |
| Egg Voucher Gold | The rarest kind of voucher that can only be obtained during special events. One of these gives you 25 Eggs, with one being a guaranteed Epic Egg. |
How to Get Egg Vouchers in PokeRogue?

There are multiple ways to get Egg Vouchers in PokeRogue
- Every time you beat a new Gym Leader or Elite Four in Classic Mode, you’ll get 1 Egg Voucher Plus. Beating them again after that will earn you a Regular Egg Voucher.
- Defeating the Champion for the first time in Classic Mode will reward you with 1 Egg Voucher Premium. After that, beating the Champion again will give you 1 Egg Voucher Plus.
- Beating Classic Mode for the first time will give you 1 Egg Voucher Gold. Any Classic run victories from there will give you 1 Egg Voucher Premium.
- Each Classic Completion will also award you with a Ribbon and an Egg Voucher Plus for every starter in your party, only once. If one of your Pokémon is DNA Spliced, only the primary gets the rewards.
- Completing the Daily Run for the first time in a day will give you 1 Egg Voucher Premium.
- In Endless Mode, you get an Egg Voucher Plus every 50 Floors (Bosses) you beat until you reach Floor 200.
- Every time you defeat Eternatus on Floor 250 Endless Mode, you get 1 Egg Voucher Premium.
How to Use Egg Vouchers in PokeRogue

You can use your Egg Vouchers in the Egg Gacha. You can access this from the menu during runs or in the main menu.
Press Esc on your keyboard to bring out the menu and select Egg Gacha.
There are three types of Gacha Machines in the Egg Gacha. Each machine increases the odds of getting a specific kind of Pokemon:
- Move Up Machine: The Move Up Gacha Machine (Grey/Left) gives you Eggs with increased odds of hatching a Pokemon with a rare Egg move.
- Legendary Up Machine: The Legendary Up Machine gives you a chance of getting Legendaries. There’s a 2/256 (1/128) (0.78%) chance of getting a Legendary Egg from this machine. Every day, there is a Legendary UP Gacha target Pokemon indicated in the machine and there’s a 1/256 (0.39%) of the Egg being the target Pokemon.
- Shiny Up Machine: This Egg Gacha machine ups your chances of getting a Shiny Pokemon. Eggs from the Shiny Up Machine have a 1/64 (1.56%) chance of being a Shiny when they hatch.
PokeRogue Egg Voucher Tips
For Beginners:
If you’re new to this game, chances are you have already lost in Classic Mode multiple times. If that’s the case, don’t be disappointed because that’s how PokeRogue is supposed to be.
You start a run, you lose, and you get stronger every time. The goal now is to get as many Egg Vouchers and better Pokemon as starters so you can build a strong team more easily.
Focus on getting as far as you can during your runs. Every new Gym Leader and Elite Four member you beat will give you an Egg Voucher Plus. I utilized this to get as many Eggs as I could.
You might get lucky and even obtain Epic or Legendary Eggs.
For Intermediate Players (Mid Game):
For those of you who have a bit of experience in the game and have made it to mid-game, meaning you beat Classic Mode and have access to Endless Mode.
You can consider yourself in the mid-game if you have a team that can consistently make it to Floor 2000+.
Most of your Egg Voucher Plus will come from the Reward Shop. This is why I always bring a carry that can sweep through each floor fast.
Luck is a huge factor in this stage, so I always farm Shinies to increase my odds. If the fights are taking too long or are already too hard, feel free to start another run with a stronger team.
For End Game Players
If you’ve reached this stage of the game, then you wouldn’t even need this guide. But for those of you who are aiming to get here, let me give you an overview of how I farm Egg Vouchers in the late stages of PokeRogue.
Everything is the same as mid-game, but I always start my Endless runs with maximum luck. I clear the floors like usual, but I always prioritize Egg Voucher Plus when they pop up in the rewards screen.
A carry that can take you to Floor 3000 is a must. At this point, you can average around 200 every run and you can decide if continuing the run is still worth it.
Conclusion
Egg Vouchers are the main way to progress your PokeRogue account and unlock stronger teams while filling up your collection. They are quite easy to obtain and use, but you must be willing to put in the grind as well.
