Fortunately, cheat codes follow specific patterns. Using the existing Pokemon Emerald cheat codes, I was able to uncover some of the code combinations to make up our Pokemon Scorched Silver cheats collection.

I’ve spent time collecting and testing various cheats and found some that work perfectly with Pokemon Scorched Silver, but use these cheats with caution.

Though the cheats aren’t many, they’re good to go to help you get started in the game.

Important: This post also contains detailed instructions, important warnings, and troubleshooting tips to help you use these cheats safely and effectively.

Summary

That’s all for the cheats we’ve collected for Pokemon Scorched Silver. While there aren’t many cheats, the ones we have are reliable and ready to use.

If you have any questions or concerns about these cheats, please leave a comment.

Any information you can share to help other players would be appreciated, as there may be issues I missed during testing. Let’s work together to make this game even more enjoyable!

    • It works for me check to see if you have the master code box unchecked and you don’t have more than one cheat activated

  1. Move editor:

The Move Editor code for Pokémon Scorched Silver allows you to change a move by using a TM. The base code is:

    8203DC0A YYYY

Replace YYYY with the hexadecimal value of the move you want to teach. For example:

    Pound: 0001
    Karate Chop: 0002
    Fire Punch: 0007
    Flamethrower: 0035
    Surf: 0039
    Dragon Claw: 0151

How to use: Activate the code with your desired move’s hex value, then use any TM in your inventory. The TM will teach the move corresponding to the code.

You can search for other moves hex code

    • Hey Macmac, sorry, but the Walk Through Walls cheat is not available for ROM hacks like this, including many others built on the same engine.

  2. Has there been anything for a nature modifier code yet? This game seems to go out of its way to have the absolute worst nature of every Pokemon you capture. It’s getting very frustrating.

    • Welcome back, Clarity. Sorry about that, but a nature modifier cheat isn’t possible for this type of Emerald-based ROM hack at the moment. These games are heavily modified, which makes cheats like nature modifiers extremely difficult to implement. That said, we’re always testing and searching for new codes, and we’ll be sure to update the page if a workable solution is ever found. Thanks for your understanding and continued support.

    • No nature modifier. You could just go to Violet City, find an old lady sitting on a bench then pay her to change your Pokemon nature.

    • Hey there, Lost. This happens mostly after the game is updated. You can try adjusting the item id, perhaps adding one or two.

    • Hi Neslkf, sorry, but Wild pokemon modifier cheats won’t work on this game. This is a rom hack created using a different engine, and that’s the reason why.

  4. If you leave one of these cheats enabled, Pokemon battles start to break. Also, we need to find a cheat for walking through walls. I hope the community of this site will find that cheat.

    • Make sure to disable any cheats after using them – leaving them enabled may cause glitches. Unfortunately, the walk through walls cheat doesn’t work on Emerald ROM hacks built using the decomp (non-binary) engine. But hopefully soon we can find a way to find a workaround.

    • Sorry, but the walk through walls cheat code is extremely challenging to find in many rom hacks created using Decomp engine, like this game.

  5. Hi there thanks for all the help, I got max lures but how does use them ? Is there a particular way ? Doesn’t seem to work like repels

      • Not that I’ll ever be back or get to see this, but…Is there any codes for in bag items? Or walkthrough walls codes or a way to change levels of wild pokemon or the starter pokemon or possibilities to raise ( EXP ) before your very first battle with the NPC Shane to have a fair chance at winning a battle? If so, please notify me or at least let them all know, maybe my words can help someone get what I know everyone is looking forward to in the future for this game, blessings always :”}

    • Hi there, Ryuu. Thanks for coming here. Unfortunately, rom hacks that are created with Decomp such as this game doesn’t have working Walk through walls cheat.

      Reply
        • Sorry, but that won’t work. Emerald ROM hacks made with the Decomp engine are heavily modified, making it difficult to find working cheats—this includes the Walk Through Walls cheat.

  12. Also, per my previous comment. I found that if you leave the bugged premiere balls. You can buy more pokeballs after which will fill you pokeballs slot with 999 premiere balls which you can sell. You can also now add items to the bag. Make sure the money cheat is off.

  13. So I think I found a fix(sort of) for the money cheat. You need to use it in the beginning after you get your starter and pokeballs. Once you get back to the starter town. Use all you money to buy pokeballs. When you activate the cheat, the bug will happen a where it says “no more space in the bag” when you try to buy and item and it will remove All items except the pokeballs and key items. Turn of the money cheat and sell the pokeballs which will have its name bugged. You will get Max cash stack afterwards.
Note: reactivating the cheat will remove All items.

    • I got it to work with a bunch of turning it off and on and going in and out but it permanently deleted all my TMs and I can’t buy any (they don’t show up if I do) so uh.. It’s not great.

    • I’m currently testing another cheat for the game. Could you please try this one 8203DAAE 0019. The cheat will give your Pokemon the move Mega Kick, try it during a battle to see if it works and let me know how it goes to you.
