Ultimate List of Pokemon Gaia Cheat Codes

Update for Gaia V3 – For some reasons rare candy in PC cheat and some other code breaker type cheats do not work for the latest version of Pokemon Gaia. In this case, you may want to use alternative cheats, for rare candy you can use the 5000 gain exp cheat.

Someone shared the trick to get rare candies as an alternative to the previous rare candy cheat in PC. The method is using the “Rare candy in Pokemart” cheat and paired up with “$1 items in Pokemart” cheat.

Activating only the “Rare candy in Pokemart” will lead you to an expensive rare candy that costs 4800 but when paired with “$1 items in Pokemart”, the price reduces to only $1.

Update: January 7, 2019 – Finally, a generous reader shared his working rare candy cheat code for Gaia V3. We have tested the code, and it is confirmed working. The cheat will give you x999 rare candy which can be withdrawn in your PC.

    • I’m quite sure about that, but if someone will share the codes to us, then I will add them in the list. Honestly, it isn’t easy to find those codes, it takes a lot of time and effort.

  1. when I try to enter for battle in battle marsh the npc say that you need to save the game so when I save game it says saving error (using visual boy advance )

  2. Ok so I was gonna download the file and once I did that I went to my emulator searched for the file because it has an auto search feature and it didn’t find it so I downloaded a new one same problem I used GBA Emulator by Itakeapps and Nostalgia.GBA so do you know what’s wrong I used the link you provided by the way I’m doing this on mobile

  3. What emulator would you recommend for this cheats and which version of Pokemon Gaia would you recommend to please recommend a free emulator

  4. So Everytime I try to catch Palkia with the cheat code, upon saving it’s data to the Pokedex the game freezes, and I had to restart it, I didn’t have this issue with any other Pokemon I caught using the modifieng cheat, it’s just the Palkia code itself, is there an anti DMA code?

    • I’m not really sure about the anti DMA code but if all those Pokemon cheats work except Palkia, then I suspect it is a bug of the game.

  5. Hi! I am currently playing Gaia on GBA4iOS and the Wild Pokemon Modifier cheat does not work for me. I have entered both of the Master Code as separate cheats and entered the code for Altaria and Sylveon. I feel like I’ve been doing something wrong but I don’t know what it is. Help me please!

  6. So i was playing on OpenEmu and i’ve tried to use first the Wild Pokemon modifier hack and after the Mythical Pokemon hack but both of them don’t work. What can i do?

  7. I’m trying to get a mega stone for my wild pokemon modifier sceptile the invalid pop up did not appear but I checked the mart but it was not ther help me please????????

  8. Hello,i use MyBoy on android and i want have water pulse so i use the cheat and after buy in PokeMarket look in my TM case and instead of Water Pulse i get Charming cry it’s Normal ? (I have V3.2

  9. i cant get the shiny Pokemon cheat to work i am on V3 i’m using VisualBoy Advance and i have a Windows 10 laptop

    • You can format a cheat in openemu like this 7300218C0001+82023D501388. Basically, you have to add a + for each line. However, OpenEmu doesn’t fully support cheats, so don’t expect too much from this emulator with regards to cheating.

    • Hello, so I’m trying to use the Wild pokemon modifier to get a beldum but the master code isn’t working for me. I tried putting it as a separate cheat and as the same cheat but whenever I try to add it, I get a little pop up saying “This cheat code is invalid”. I have it put under code breaker but none of the code types work. I’m unsure how to get it to work. I’m using the John GBA Lite emulator on a Galaxy S7 Samsung phone. I have pokemon Gaia v3.2 downloaded. I have screenshots too but I don’t know how to post those. I hope I gave you enough information and thank you for your time.

      • Oh yeah! I also have used some of the other cheat codes such as the master ball and exp ones and they worked fine. It’s just this one.

      • Hi, when the error “This cheat code is invalid” pops up, it means there’s a problem with how you input the code or select the wrong cheat type. Remove any empty spaces before or after the cheat code. You may also watch this video I guess this can help you https://youtu.be/R4Om9Jq_phs?t=155

  10. Im using john gba and the wild pokemon modifier cheat isn’t working. I tried typing in the mastercode and it doesn’t work. I can type in the pokemons id cheat code but the master code isnt working and I can’t meet these pokemon

  11. Hi I’m using VBA-m and I tried everything to get the shiny code to work but nothing works.
I’m also using pokemon gaia v.32 in a squirrels version of pokemon FireRed (the one that the game developers support). I add the cheat shiny pokemon but nothing happens, I tried putting it as a Gameshark and also as a codebreaker but didn’t work as well.
I don’t know what can I be doing wrong :/ please help

    • Strange, do you have any other enabled cheat beside the shiny? turn them off. Also, be sure to check the code if there’s an empty space before and after, this can also cause an issue.

    • I have the same problem and I think I know the answer. The developers didn’t make shiny sprites, my proof of this is I caught a shiny Zigzagoon and a shiny Registeel and they both used the gen 3 sprites. I think only the mons that use gen 3 sprites can be shiny.

  12. Im using John GBA and im having trouble with the mastercode for wild pokemon, every other code is working exept the wild pokemon master.

im not gonna switch emulator as that reset my save. alternatively does anyone know where to get Larvitar in V3.2?

    • same happened to me. You can switch to my boy (there are apk on internet). Then if you save the game (not from the emulator but from the game itself, you can browse the save in file explorer and copy it to my boy so you don’t lose your progress. the cheat works on the latter emulator.

  13. The wild nature modifier is just not working for me…I have restarted my game completely with only one cheat enabled.

    Game ver: beta v3.2
    Emulater: mGBA (PC)

    • Before posting this reply I tested the code myself with the same game version and emulator as you have and it works perfectly without problem. Here’s the possible situation I suspect causing your problem.

Unlike My Boy, mGBA can’t auto detect a cheat type. Entering the full code in a single line will automatically treat the code as invalid. Check the code again and enter the code with the format shown in the image below, btw the cheat type for is Action Replay.

  14. All the cheats are working fine but I’m noticing every time I try to use a shiny pokemon cheat to find my party they all are gentle nature and even the Nature modifier won’t fix this. Any thoughts?

  15. I am trying to grab a Fennekin but I simply cannot get the master code needed for wild pokemon modification to work in VBAm. I get a “codes seem to be for a different game” error whenever I try to enter them into the cheat list. As far as I know, this happens because the ROM and cheats don’t precisely match up, leading me to believe that these codes no longer work for v3.2 of Gaia. I copy/pasted the code exactly as it is displayed here.

  16. If i go shopping for pokeballs with the pokemon modifier on the screen goes all wonky and freezes after I started the game again the pokemon modifier code wouldn’t work HELP

    • Freezing usually occurs when two different cheats are enabled at once, be sure to disable the other one and it should fix the problem.

  17. Whenever i use code to catch palkia, my game crash?
I put all master code and use MyBoy for Android. I play Gaia V3.2

  18. I’m having trouble getting the wild Pokémon modifier working on my gba4ios. They don’t spawn when I enter the cheat and when I switch Pokémon during battle it just makes my screen go black.

    • For some reasons, GBA4iOS has a problem activating the Wild Pokemon modifier cheat. That happened to me as well and to most GBA4iOS users. For now, I recommend not using the cheat.

    • Hey, I’m having trouble using the wild pokemon cheat code, could you please upload a video of someone doing it so I can have a better understanding

  19. Does the Shiny and nature mod not work together? It gives me the shiny but not the nature, and vise versa. Let me know if anyone got both to work.

  20. will there be a move modifier with the updated moves for the new generations?
also wild pokemon modifier doesn’t work for VBA at all

    • Yes you can apply FieRed complete pokedex cheat but I hope it won’t mess the game. I’m very careful when adding cheats for ROM hacks, since rom hacks are modified games you can expect irregularities when using cheats. Give it a try, but be sure to save progress before using the cheat.

  21. Hi, this wasn’t really a question on Pokémon Gaia but does anyone know how I can stop apps from getting revoked? I am running iOS 12.2 on my iPhone XR and currently using delta as my emulator. I can’t find any methods online that work and I don’t want this to end up like my fully completed Pokémon glazed file which got revoked, help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

    • Well, there is an app called GBA4IOS that can be used with Dropbox to store your save. Not sure if you can use it on the XR but if the app gets revoked with Dropbox Sync on, then you can just redownload and sync your save data, as long as its the same exact source the download came from with the same file name.

  22. Hello Pokemoncoders

I’m Using VBA and the Megastone Cheats does not works and so as the pokemon modifier. It kept saying “Codes Seem to for a Different Game” please help

    • First off, make sure to enter the codes correctly and you may need to enter the mastercode. That message is just a warning message and you can simply ignore it.

        • Hello Noel, I’ve just added the code for infinite cash, you may want to check it. I tested it and as you can see in the preview image it is working. However, please note that the money will disappear when you disable the cheat.

      • Im using John Gba and the mastercode for the wild pokemon cheat doesnt work I can’t add it it just says code is unknown. Please can someone help

  23. I’m hoping that you will add a nature modifier on wild pokemon”if encounter no need to worry what its nature” ex.Machamp Andamant -Sp.Atk/+Atk or Jolly – Sp.Atk/+Speed perfect nature combination cause Machamp dont have any Sp.Atk Moves, please I’ll wait for the update.

    • Hi Seifer, just added the nature modifier cheat you may want to check them. Please note that the cheat works only for Wild Pokemon.

  24. I’m trying to use the wild pokemon modifier, but seems like it’s not working on V3 ?
maybe someone has the same issue ?
