Pokemon Modern Emerald – Complete: 1.4 (Updated)

A multitude of Emerald ROM hacks are out there, and one of them is Pokemon Modern Emerald. This hack is a modernization of Emerald, which brings forth a lot of quality-of-life features that the original Emerald didn’t have.

This isn’t a difficult hack, and it’s fun to play with. Speaking of a difficult Pokemon Emerald hack, you might want to check out Emerald Kaizo if you want to get punished so badly.

The file attached below is a BPS file but don’t worry because we have a guide that you can take a look at. BPS files can be patched easily and with this guide, you can easily patch it.

There’s no specific Emerald ROM that you need to use to patch the file, so just follow the guide.

Pokemon Modern Emerald Details and More

Story

The story is the same as Pokemon Emerald, so if you know where to go and what to do with the story, you’ll be good to go. There aren’t any major changes at least in the overall plot of Modern Emerald.

Features

There are three difficulty modes to choose from Easy, Normal, and Hard. This isn’t an unfair hack, so Hard mode is bearable and not frustrating.

There are also 423 Pokemon from different Generations beyond Gen 3 and even Gen 8.

Trainers and Gym Leaders can be fought again when requirements are met. There’s also the catching EXP feature, where you still gain EXP once you catch a Pokemon.

Speaking of EXP, the Gen 6 EXP Share has also been included in this as well as other features.
