How to evolve Milotic, Dustox, and Beautifly
Getting Dustox and Beautifly in Pokemon GO
We’ll start first with these two since they both evolve from Wurmple. Naturally, you need a Wurmple first and a lot of Wurmple Candy. The good thing about this is that you can get the first one at 100% and the other one at random. That’s right, getting Dustox or Beautifly as the second evolution boils down to random evolution.
Step 1
When you have enough Wurmple Candy, click on Evolve on the Wurmple of your choice. It only costs 12 Wurmple Candies to do the first evolution anyway, which is why you need to have a good amount of Candies.
Step 2
The Wurmple will either evolve into a Cascoon or a Silcoon.
Step 3
Depending on which one you got, you can then use 50 more Wurmple Candies to evolve them. The Cascoon will evolve into Dustox and the Silcoon will evolve into Beautifly.
Step 4
This is where the 100% comes in because the first evolution you get is either going to be a Dustox or a Silcoon. That means, if you want to get the second one, you have to evolve another Wurmple and just hope that you get the other form that you didn’t already get.
That is also the same in the Pokemon games where Wurmple’s evolution is random. It is either going to be a Silcoon or a Cascoon. The unfortunate thing in Pokemon GO is that you can’t save and load if you don’t get the form that you want. Getting Milotic in Pokemon GO
In Generation III and IV, getting a Milotic is a hassle. You need to raise a Feebas’ Beauty and evolve it once it levels up with the right amount of Beauty. Step 1
Simply choose the Feebas you want to evolve as your Buddy. The steps are very easy because you just need to go to the Buddy option and switch it to Feebas.
Step 2
Make sure you have at least 100 Feebas Candies in your inventory. That’s all you’re going to need during the evolution process anyway.
Step 3
This is the part where it can prove to be a challenge or not. You just need to walk 20KM that will allow you to evolve your Feebas. Don’t worry because you don’t need to do it in one session. You can walk 1KM, 5KM tomorrow, and different distances for the next days until it is ready to evolve.
Here’s a little tip, if you want to evolve a Feebas into a Milotic for a more serious purpose, then check the Feebas’ stats. You can only set one Buddy at a time and you don’t want to waste walking 20KM on a Feebas that will evolve into a Milotic with sub-par stats. Then again, if you don’t care that much, then just evolve any Feebas you want.
