Pokemon Dreary

A lot of these ROM hacks go beyond the norm and make their games as flashy as possible. However, it isn’t always the case and there’s nothing wrong with a simplistic ROM hack. That’s where Pokemon Dreary comes into the picture.

This is a straightforward GBA ROM hack where it isn’t flashy but it is still worth your time.

It is a hack of FireRed and a lot of the elements are already there. You have a basic story and all the things that you need when it comes to everything Pokemon-related.

Pokemon Dreary Details and Information

Story

The story in Pokemon Dreary isn’t really that flashy and it is very common. Apparently, some mysterious events are happening in the Kanto Region. You have to set out and find what’s going on, and at the same time, head to the Indigo to finish the game. It is a shorter story than most games but it will be enough.

Features

The game has the basic Pokemon game features however, healing here is done by sleeping on a bed. You don’t necessarily go to a Pokemon Center because you just need a bed like in other RPGs where characters sleep at an Inn.

Dreary also has something like a Nuzlocke because having all of your Pokemon knocked out means you’ll have to restart from your last save point. Try to save as much as possible if you don’t want to keep going back. It also has a slightly harder difficulty so you better not take it lightly
