There are a couple of ROM hacks out there that aren’t taking it too seriously. A good example is Pokemon Old White, where the dialogue can be a bit comical and have a bit of an adult tone.
It has an original story, a couple of features, and everything you need in a ROM hack.
This hack uses FireRed as its base, so make sure you use the right one. That being said, we’re going to dive right into this ROM hack. We’ll give you all the important details and everything you need to know because this is a bit confusing.

Pokemon Old White Details and More
Story
Old White has an original story, and as we stated earlier, the dialogue isn’t that serious and can be a bit for adults later on. To summarize, your character is graduating from the West Academy.
However, there’s a test before that where you have to catch a Pokemon. Then it all rolls out from there, where you become the best Pokemon Trainer around.
Features
The programmer didn’t really list a lot of features of the hack. If you even go to the source link, there’s not much to go by, but we’ll give you some of the included details and features. The roster goes up to Gen 3.
The same features from FireRed are pretty much there. Not much has changed when it comes to the game’s mechanics and playability. It’s the story that’s original, and several things are added to the mix.
