We haven’t had a fan-made game in a while, so let’s talk about Pokemon Castaway. This fan-made game uses a different engine from the usual ROM hacks, so you don’t need to patch it with a base ROM.

Just download the game, install it on your PC, and it should start. You don’t need to download any emulators since the game is like an app that will launch when you click on it.

Pokemon Castaway Details and More
Story
The story starts off as your character seemingly won a contest for a free vacation to Alola. Tragedy strikes and your plane crash-lands on Bermada Island.
You must now try to leave the island but the question is can you? The island itself is riddled with Pokemon and other inhabitants.
Features
The game isn’t your typical Pokemon game where you fight Gym Leaders and get Badges. Your objective is to leave the place, but the story keeps you company, encountering other characters and plot points to progress.
The game itself isn’t that long and is less than 10 hours, so it’s a one-time playthrough if you think about it. Pokemon spans through numerous Generations with secrets, hidden locations, and quests to do.
