We’ve already mentioned in an article the ways and tips you can use for catching a Ditto in Pokemon GO. One of the keywords there is that Ditto disguises itself as one of the other Pokemon in the game.
If you catch that Pokemon and the word OH comes out, it will transform into a Ditto that you’ve successfully caught. We have to articulate further the different Pokemon that can be Ditto in Pokemon Go.

Knowing where to get a Ditto
Dittos won’t appear on your map, and it doesn’t have a nest. The good thing is that if a Pokemon that is one of the disguises has a nest or appears on the map, then you can try catching that. A lot of the disguises that Ditto can turn into is that most of them are basic and low level.
This means that you can easily catch them. If you are determined to catch a Ditto, then use higher quality balls and berries to catch it efficiently so that it won’t escape.
These are mostly the Pokemon that can be Ditto in Pokemon Go. Perhaps in the future, there are updates that will add more Pokemon that can be used as disguises. If you didn’t know, back then Pidgey, Rattata, and Magikarp were disguises for Ditto.
They had to stop it because people were catching Shiny Magikarps that turned into a Ditto and people were not happy with that. We’ll update this list if they change or add more Pokemon that can act as disguises which can be in later updates.
