Best Eevee Evolution in Pokemon Go – Eeveelution Ranked

Eevee is definitely an interesting Pokemon because you can evolve it into 8 different types. That being said, this is Pokemon Go we are talking about and you can’t just alter your evolved Eevee by giving it some moves and other things.

That’s why we’re going to find out which of the Eevee evolutions can pretty much be in the high or low tiers. Just be aware that this is more of an opinionated piece.

Meaning, you don’t have to follow what we say and there are no official or confirmed data that determine these Eevee evolutions are good or bad. Plus there is only one evolution that isn’t the game yet and that is Sylveon.

Eevee Evolution in Pokemon Go, Which One The Best For You?

TOP TIER

Espeon

One would argue that Espeon the best Eevee evolution in Pokemon Go. That’s because Espeon has the highest ATK and CP stats out all of them. Its stats are 261 ATK and 3,170 CP. Its DEF however is just shy above Vaporeon which has very poor DEF stats. The other thing that makes Espeon good is that has moves like Confusion and Future Sight. Espeon is also on the top tier of Psychic types in the game.

Vaporeon

Vaporeon has one of the top CP compared to the other Eevee evolutions. It sits around 3,114 and it has good ATK and STA. Unfortunately, it has the lowest DEF out of all the evolutions. However, it is considered as one of the best Water types in the game and has suitable moves in the field of battle against Raid bosses.

Flareon

Flareon is the Fire type of the bunch and it has the highest ATK out of all the evolutions. Its CP is just behind Vaporeon and it is pretty much another good evolution to bring against Raid bosses. The moves that Flareon has can be very devastating in battle as well as also being in the top spot as one of the best Fire type Pokemon in Go.

MIDDLE TIER

Jolteon

In terms of the original three, Jolteon is somewhere in the middle and doesn’t have room to be the best or worst. Its ATK is slightly lower than Flareon but its DEF is slightly higher than Vaporeon which does have the lowest DEF out of all the evolutions. Its moves are pretty much basic but it is still a worthy Electric type to bring and use.

Glaceon

Glaceon stats can be considered very bad It has the lowest ATK from all the other evolutions and it also has the lowest DEF and STA. It has good CP so that’s what it has going for it when it has a CP of 2,387 which is good compared to other Pokemon. It does have nice moves going for it which allow it to be at least average at best but there are better Ice type Pokemon to use.

Leafeon

Leafeon can be just a step above Glaceon as both are tied for the lowest DEF among the Eevee evolutions with 130. It has a slightly less high ATK compared to Glaceon but its CP is impressive compared to other Grass type Pokemon. It is lucky if you can get moves like Solar Beam which has a high ATK damage. Then again it is still average at best compared to other Grass types.

LOW TIER

Umbreon

Umbreon is considered the worst out of all the Eevee evolutions at least in Pokemon Go. This isn’t like the games where Umbreon can be badass to a certain degree. Umbreon has average stats but it has the highest DEF out of all the evolutions. Unfortunately, it can’t perform up to par and its moves are not that good. There are other better Dark type Pokemon to use. Sadly Umbreon can’t even compete to have the title of best Eevee evolution in Pokemon Go.

Conclusion

In conclusion, the ones that you would want to use are Espeon, Vaporeon, and Flareon. You can use Jolteon, Glaceon, and Lefeon as backup Pokemon. Then as much as possible just keep Umbreon at the back which is unfortunate.
